Goshen International University (GIU) is a newly established institution registered by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). The university is preparing to launch and is seeking qualified academics to join its pioneering team.

Position Overview

The Senior Lecturer will teach and support students in the Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship programme while contributing to academic leadership, research, curriculum development and staff mentorship.

Minimum Qualifications

• PhD in Entrepreneurship, Innovation Studies or a related field.

Experience

• At least eight years' teaching and research experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver interactive online course content through the university's Learning Management System (LMS).
• Deliver asynchronous lectures, facilitate virtual seminars and lead live discussion boards.
• Set, administer and mark assignments, tests and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Provide virtual consultation sessions, academic advice and student mentorship.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, dissertations and capstone work online.
• Conduct academic research, publish in reputable journals and pursue external research grants and resource mobilisation opportunities.
• Facilitate virtual labs, case studies and practicums relevant to the programme.
• Build links with industry, churches, government and professional bodies.
• Mentor Lecturers, review assessment rubrics and participate in academic governance activities.
• Provide academic leadership for the programme and lead curriculum reviews.
