About the Opportunity

Chipojola Enterprises – Lilongwe Piggery Farms is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, hardworking and dedicated individuals for the position of Farm Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily farm operations and supervise farm workers.
• Implement proper livestock management and feeding programmes.
• Oversee feed formulation and monitor animal health, growth and productivity.
• Maintain accurate farm records and prepare regular reports.
• Manage feed stocks, procurement and farm expenditure.
• Ensure hygiene, biosecurity and animal welfare.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Animal Science, Veterinary Science or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of livestock and animal management.
• Proven practical farm-management experience, preferably in pig production.
• Knowledge and practical experience in animal feed formulation.
• Ability to manage livestock records, production costs and farm inventory.
• Strong leadership, supervision and reporting skills.
• Ability to independently oversee daily farm operations.
